Chamber Board Takes the Lead with Member Recruitment

The Chamber family got a little bigger last month when our Membership Director, Alyssa Eden, welcomed her third son, Callan into the world! So while Alyssa is out on maternity leave, our Chamber Board of Directors has volunteered to "fill the gap" with a fun competition to bring in a total of 50 new members in July and August.

Our Board is a competitive bunch full of high achievers, and they, more than anyone, understand the benefits of chamber membership and how it can help your business or organization reach its full potential. Our charge at the Chamber is promote, connect, advocate and provide resources for our members. We truly believe that your membership investment, which starts at $95 per year for non-profits and $140 for sole proprietorships and averages around $200 per year across our membership of more than 550, represents the best value out there for creating a network and promoting your business within our community.

Our Chamber membership has been divided into 14 teams and each board member  will be contacting their team members to inspire them to make referrals and seek out business associates, customers and vendors who might be potential new members. For each new member referred by an existing member, a credit equal to 20% of the new member dues will be awarded to the referring member, and they can use those credits towards their own dues renewals or registration fees and sponsorship opportunities. We've got something really special planned for the board member whose team brings in the highest number of new members by August 31.

If you're already a Chamber member, be on the lookout for campaign materials soon from your team captain and start thinking of who you know that might benefit from joining up. You could end up with a free year of dues and fees for our great Chamber events! If you have not yet considered what the Chamber can offer your business or organization, now is the time to ask a current member or board member.  Check out our board by CLICKING HERE or look through our membership directory by CLICKING HERE. Ask them what the Chamber has done for their business!

We think you will find that there are many reasons to join the a part of the only organization in Robertson County that is focused solely on building a better business climate and quality of life for Robertson County businesses and residents.
