Why Be a Member?

Networking Opportunities

Monthly Chamber breakfasts, quarterly Lunch & Learn and After Hours events, all offer members a chance to meet other local business people and find ways to build business relationships and create member-to member partnerships to co-promote businesses.

Advertising and Sponsorship Opportunities

The Chamber offers its members a long list of opportunities to advertise through the chamber website, the chamber newsletter, and weekly e-mail blasts. Sponsorship of chamber events such as Good Morning Robertson County (monthly membership breakfast), Pep Rally on the Square, Experience Robertson County, Pull for the Chamber, Spirits of the South Casino Night, Leadership Robertson County and other chamber-organized projects offers businesses a chance to promote their business and be seen as a supporter of the community.

Small Business Development Resources

The Chamber offers a wide variety of assistance for small businesses including free small business counseling through the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, assistance with permits and business license processes, workshops and seminars in cooperation with local experts on finance, accounting and legal issues and access to state programs like the Business Enterprise Resource Office.

Shop Local Campaign

The Chamber conducts a year-round effort to encourage Robertson County residents to shop with its member businesses. Flyers and posters, advertisements, contests and programs are some of the Chamber’s efforts to reward customers for patronizing local businesses.
