It's Taste of Country Week!

The big week is here!  Taste of Country USA happens this Saturday, September 16 from 10 am to 5 pm on the Court House Square in Springfield. From the Riding for Books Century Bike Ride and the Rooster Run 5K in the morning to the last strains of music from the Electrolux Main Stage and the final cheers from the Tailgate Zone, Taste of Country 2017 has something for everyone!

Hundreds of vendor, arts and crafts and food booths will be set up throughout downtown Springfield for your browsing, shopping and munching enjoyment. $5 armbands will get your kids entry into Kid’s  Country and hours of water and inflatable fun. Willow Oak will have arts and crafts activities for the youngsters as well. The TASTE of Robertson County competition will be held throughout the day under the  638 Building offering a chance to watch, taste and vote on a "chopped"-style competition using fresh Robertson County ingredients. Satisfy your sweet tooth by tasting and voting at The Pudding Parade, a competition to see who makes Robertson County’s best banana pudding!

We'll have live music from all day featuring a taste of Robertson County’s best talent. Starting 10 am on the main stage will be EZ Street, followed by The Fortunate Sons at 11:30, Austin Anderson at 1 pm, Split Milk at 2:30 pm and  Andrew Dossett at 4 pm.
And with a fall festival date we couldn’t forget about our football fans…the Taste of Country Tail Gate Zone will have barbeque, beer, snacks, games and big screen TV’s so you can follow the action with your fellow fans and still enjoy popping in and out of the festival. A $25 arm band gets you an all day pass to the Tailgate Zone and all its goodies.

The weatherman is predicting that Hurricane Irma will clear out and leave us with a glorious fall weekend so make plans to come out and enjoy the best of Robertson County at Taste of Country! For all the details, race registrations and tailgate zone tickets, check out our website
