How Can You Help Robertson County's Drive to 55?

Governor Haslam has launched an ambitious plan to develop a workforce in Tennessee that will be competitive with any state in the union as well as with the international markets.  Drive to 55 seeks to get 55% of  Tennesseans equipped with a college degree or certificate by the year 2025.  It is a three pronged approach: Tennessee Promise, Tennessee Reconnect and Tennessee LEAP.

Do You Know "What's Going On" in Robertson County?

It happens regularly.  Talking with someone about a Chamber program or event and they say, "I didn't know about that." Depending on my current state of mind, my reaction ranges from surprised to determined to frustrated. But it's a fact of life that even in our "connected" society, it remains difficult to get the word out about all the things happening in our community.

The holidays begin in Springfield!

It is a long time tradition that the Christmas parade in Springfield takes place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving! Santa officially arrives just in time for our annual Christmas on the Square festival to visit with the children and listen to their Christmas wish lists. Then he mounts up on the Springfield Fire Department ladder truck and rides through town in the parade.

November Elections Candidate Forum

November 8 is an important day in Robertson County. It is Election Day, 2016, and while the winner of the presidential election is certainly important, here at the Robertson County Chamber of Commerce we believe that the most important elections are the local ones.
