Taste of Country Festival 2017 Edition

Now that summer is officially here, festivals start to be a hot topic of conversation. We have some great ones coming up here in Robertson County, from the Freedom Celebration in Springfield on July 2  and the Turning of the Pig in Greenbrier on the 3rd to the Americana Celebration in White House on the 8th and the Threshermen's Show in Adams on  the 21st. Our own Robertson County Chamber's signature event, Taste of Country USA, has a new date this year. We moved to September 16 to allow our festival to anchor the end of summer and hopefully enjoy a little cooler temperatures!

Chamber Connections are Our Greatest Member Benefit

Last week our Good Morning Robertson County program highlighted a number of ways that Chamber members work together and support each other.  From our sponsor, Robertson County Schools, to our community's largest employer, Electrolux, we saw the tremendous work that can be done to better our community and our economic prosperity when member businesses and organizations understand each other and find ways to promote and encourage themselves and their partners.

Summer Time in #RobCo

Summer is about to be officially here. And typically our Chamber activity calendar slows down a bit from mid-June to mid-August as our members and staff take time to enjoy summer vacations and the July holidays. It's a great time for us to get busy with some "housekeeping" as we clean out the storage areas, get our databases up-to-date and get caught up on filing both physical and virtual.
