Two Chamber Events You Don't Need to Miss!
Two great Chamber events are coming up in the next two weeks!
This Thursday we welcome our members and their guests to another Good Morning Robertson County at Springfield City Hall. Join us at 7:30 am for a great breakfast provided by our sponsor, The Robertson County Connection, and the most informative 30 minutes in Robertson County.
There's a reason Good Morning Robertson County has been a Chamber tradition for more than 30 years. It's your best opportunity to hear what's happening in Springfield and Robertson County and check in with your fellow Chamber members. It's the place to see and be seen, so don't miss your opportunity this month!
And on Friday, February 24, at 9 am, our Small Business Workshops continue with a great session on eCommerce. Time-starved consumers are becoming more comfortable using credit and bank cards to make purchases from virtual retailers. They comparison shop over the Internet for the best quality and cost and purchase a range of goods from groceries to high-tech products. In this changing climate, small business owners must adopt this new business strategy to remain fully competitive. Until recently, developing an eCommerce Web site meant dealing with multiple companies: one to develop the Web site, one for eCommerce integration, one to host the site, and yet another provider for secure payment processing. Newer technologies, however, are making it easier for business owners to get their online sites up and running.
In this brief overview, we will learn from a representative of the Small Business Administration and also from a small business owner here in Robertson County who is doing business all over the world through her company's e-commerce business model.
These Small Business Workshops are open to members and non-members, but an RSVP is required. Call the Chamber at 384-3800 or email us at RSVP@robertsonchamber.org. Coffee and donuts will be provided by the Chamber.
Our Chamber staff is working to provide great resources and networking opportunities for all Robertson County businesses and organizations. If you haven't checked out the Chamber lately, come see us Thursday at Good Morning Robertson County!
