Reviving Downtown Springfield Part 2

The Chamber recently convened a town hall meeting as a "brain storming" session to facilitate a discussion about the future of downtown Springfield. We were extremely encouraged by the tremendous attendance and the engagement of those present. Nearly 75 participants filled City Hall, including Springfield aldermen, planning commissioners, board of zoning appeals members, historic district residents, property owners and business owners. It was a fruitful and productive discussion and a wide variety of important ideas and innovative suggestions were brought forward.

A.J. Geary, Goodwill Career Solutions

A.J. has been an active chamber volunteer since her first month on the job as a Career Counselor for Goodwill Career Solutions in Springfield. Chair of the Women in Business Committee, an active Chamber Ambassador, and a member of the Robertson Education Initiative's Volunteer Corps, A.J. brings positive energy to every project in which she is involved. A.J.lives in Sango with husband, Brian, a US Army Ranger stationed at Ft. Campbell and their two children.
